First of i'd like to state that I am a regular Spur customer, my "go-to" breakfast, lunch or dinner choice is always Spur, and this particular weekend was no different however:
The waiter that served us, Manwell, seemed like he was at his first day of work with minimal training. The service was a shocking. I did mention it to him but he seemed like he wasn't bothered.
Go back on day 2, no Texan blaze wings and i'm given a plate that has food smeared on it from the bottom of another plate. Manager Geoffrey's solution is that he gives me a cold drink!
Unfortunately for me I like my spur too much so end up giving it a last chance and head on over for dinner. Red bull - Out of stock, waiter william obviously had to serve the entire resturant because it took us over 2 hours to have 2 drinks and a meal. Waited an hour for food and about 20 - 30 minutes for drinks. Manager Geoffrey once again apologises, however thats just not good enough!
I spent over R1400.00 on meals at Spur, i don't deserve to receive the poor service I received. If you feel that my business is not worth your time, I will gladly change over.
I'm shocked, and disappointed. Stay away from Dakota Spur Northgate!
