I bought a R35 meal at McDonalds 7 September. Instead of only once, the transaction went through three times.
I went back to McDonalds where they (without saying sorry) proceeded to show me their policies and procedures and said they can not refund the money, I need to talk to my bank.
I sent a Secure Message to my bank and I received a call on September 11. He said the query will take up to 12 working days for the money to be refunded. I waited 12 working days and by 27 September, nothing has happened.
I sent another secure message to my bank on 2 October. They said that only McDonalds can give the money back as it has already been banked.
It 's been OVER a month and I have just been shunted around. There is constant finger pointing from one to the other, all for R70! It is ridiculous!!!
McDonalds made the mistake and refuses to rectify it- REALLY poor service!
