My two friends and I decided to have a few drinks at Primi Piatti in Menlyn. We arrived there around 16:45. We noticed that rush hour would've started in 15 minutes and decided to wait a bit. Our waiter at that moment informed us that he would take our order as soon as rush hour had started. At 17:00 he took our order. After he had taken our order however, he walked over to female customers and chatted with them. At around 17:30 we had to ask a different waiter from the one which was supposed to serve us what had happened to our order. He checked for us. According to the waiter neither the kitchen OR the bar had received our order from the waiter who was supposed to do so. We decided to leave. I think that this is an excellent example of extremely bad service, as this waiter is an excellent example of someone who does not put YOUR business' needs (which is to satisfy paying customers) before his own. This becomes clear in the fact that he first checked on customers, which was already served, instead of making sure that MORE people get served. His response: "Sorry, I got busy" -???
