24HR MCDONALDS REFUSED TO SERVE ME AT 1AM

I am a very loyal customer at McDonald's and I love my McFeast Delux!
I went to McDonald's in Protea Glen Mall on Tuesday last week 15/01/2013 to buy food for me and 2 friends. The lady over the speaker phone told us that they cant give us food because they were offline and requested that we go to speak to them over the window. We wanted to buy 3 McFeast Delux meals. They said that everyday at 00:00 the machine goes offline. How the do they run an 24hr service with an offline machine. We requested to speak to the manager and he came out and said sorry - he can't help us. It was only after we asked for his name that he served us very quickly. I felt undermined and despised. I have never received such pathetic customer service. I know that at every McDonald's Franchise they serve the same friendly way and I serve customers myself and that is no way to treat a customer. I wish there was a way to escalate further than hello peter. I can imagine how many people are refused service at that restaurant!
