At approx. 15h50 onwards for 10-15 minutes yesterday (Sunday) at the McDonalds, Milnerton branch the waiting time to be served was excruciating, and it wasn't even busy?
Like all their branches this one can get busy, but with the lack of till/serving staff, a steady little queue soon built up. I go to this branch almost every single day of the week at widely differing times, and they tend to be about 80% efficient most of the time. Yesterday at tea-time it was more like 20%!?
I waited much longer, than normal, to be served then the cashier disappeared while a line started forming. She then got the drinks part of my order wrong but that wasn't too serious. In the meantime all sorts of staff were 'wafting' up & down behind the counter with No one bothering to assist new customers.
One irate farther (had his year old child in his arms) then managed to get a managers attention and LET LOOSE at her. He'd been waiting in his car at the drive-thru mic for many minutes with No attention and eventually burst in to the branch to give them a piece of his mind & order his food over the counter. Well done sir!
Was it a shift change? Still unacceptable.
Unfortunately, I have to go back.
