I don't know how many more times I'm going to complain about this branch of McDonalds before I just lose all interest in McDonalds altogether.
I'm not sure what the turnaround time from order to completion is for them but last night we pulled into the drive-thru and had to repeat our order 4 times because whoever was on the other end just couldn't get it right/ wasn't listening.
The queue was long and didn't move for at least 15 minutes and that's no exaggeration. Eventually we could see other people ahead of us getting out of their cars in the queue to find out where their food was. We were still nowhere near the pay booth let alone getting our food.
Eventually we actually reversed around and pulled out of the queue and drove to Steers in Sunset Beach.
This is not the first time their drive-thru has been a problem. Often we are forced to actually move through the queue, park our cars, get out and come and fetch our order or, just as often, we sit at various points in the queue for ages waiting for someone to come and man the pay booth or waiting for our order.
This branch is shocking. Going inside to order is definitely no better - NO urgency at all.
Very annoyed AGAIN.
