On Saturday, 31st August 2013, myself and 4 friends decided to go out, have some drinks and watch the vs Blue Bulls game at one of the restaurants at The Waterfall Mall, Rustenburg. After having to wait almost 45min for our drinks at one restaurant, we decided that we should rather go to Spur, thinking that we would get better service there. We had a wonderful young waitress called Maritska, she was on the ball. Never late with drinks or topping up. Very kind, making friendly jokes.
Then suddenly the channel changed from Rugby to soccer. Maritska informed us that her manager, Charles, gave the order that 20 min rugby, then 20 min soccer will be watched to keep all sport fans happy. Unfortunately after 27 min, Charles refused to change it back. He never even apologised. We asked for the bill after just started eating our starters. We would have loved to stayed the whole night, eating our 3 courses, drinking some drinks and enjoying the game. I don't mind waiting 20min, so that soccer fans can watch their game. But don't make promises and then refuse to keep them. It's also bad client service from the manager to be towards clients and not even know how to apologise.
