We decided to take the family and meet some friends at our much loved family resturant "Mike's Kithcen". We had not seen our friend from Canada in over a year and hoped some good old fashion South African food and service would make our afternoon much enjoyable. Getting seated was no problem and they accomodated us quite well. What happened thereafter was a disaster. The waitress who served our party of 11 group left us hanging most of the time. The cherry on the cake being when we ordered Cheese poppers as a started for our Vegetarian friend only for him to bite into a crumbed chicken nugget. What a mix-up! Drinks were delivered with its accompaning mixer (incorrect!) waitress blaming it on our guests. Food took too long. I was so shocked as this was the first time the service was so bad at this resturant. David the manager for the day, could not even give a reason for the mistakes and poor service. Sadly - the tip was added to our bill... totally not deserved especially when we spent almost R2000
