17 July 2013, I took my daughter and 2 friends to the Silver Spear Spur Steak ranch for her birthday as I was expecting the staff to sing for the birthday girl. When we where seated, I did inform the waitress that it was my daughters birthday. Our orders where taken - our waitress did not deliver our food it was some other staff, our waitress did not come and check on our drinks. The service I exprienced that day was shocking. After trying to get our waitress attention for some time, she dropped off the bill. Regardless to say that there was no attempt to get the staff together to sing for my daughter or the normal free icecream with sparkler in it. I did kick up a fuss with the manager when we where leaving the resturant, and he was very accomodating and even said that I did not need to pay for the bill. My reply was that there was absolutely nothing wrong with the food and I paid for the food, but did not tip the waitress due to the bad service. I was extremely angry that my daughter was so upset due to the fact that her Birthday lunch was ruined due to her expectations being crushed.
