Went for early dinner today. Ordered the Monday Burger Special, and what a whopper this one was! 2 bites into the burger and I got something I did not order as a side with it. Not 1 but 2 hairs inside the patty itself! Needless to say I put the "Hairy Special" down and started looking for a manager. My waiter and about 7 others were just hanging around ignoring all the customers around them, this hanging around is common practice at this Spur Franchise! It took awhile but eventually an incompetent person was brought to our table and introduced as the "manager". No apology offered... My plate was hastily removed and 2 minutes later a new burger was plonked down, again I did not eat it and requested it be wrapped up for takeaway (the burgers were donated to a less fortunate person on our way out) Then I looked around my table and found the walls were stained with old food and the floor beneath the table was equally filthy. This is the second time I have complained about this franchise, and I shouldn't have to! Outside the restaurant is even worse, drains clogged with heaven knows what? Rubbish stacked behind the entrance signage. The owner wants community customers, I can't do it!
