A friend and I popped in on a quiet afternoon, only 2 other tables were occupied. We ordered quick meals, quesadillas and soup. We waited for over half an hour with no-one offering fresh beverages or telling us that there would be a delay. I got up to find a staff member, who told me "4 more minutes". 4 minutes later I asked to see the manager. I asked for the drinks bill and said that we no longer wanted our meals. He kept insisting that we eat the food for free - which were were unwiling to do, as the service was so bad. He followed us to the door insisting that we eat and that it didn't take as long as we claimed, arguing with us.
The service at this branch has never been great but this incident was the last straw, and we won't be back at M&B. I complained via their website with no response in the subsequent week and a half.
Overpriced and underwhelming.
