I have been visiting this restaurant now for a couple of months and not even once did I have a meal that was not well prepared and tasty. On Saturday, August 3, my wife and I had lunch there again and we ordered pies. This was by far the best home made pie I have had in my life. Not only were the pies huge and freshly baked, but the puff pastry was a delight. And the price - R40. This came with mash and gravy or potato chips and gravy. Not just oven fried chips, but home made chips. These people know how to cook food. A 200 gram rump steak, egg, chips and a beer or cold drink will cost you R49, 99 and so is the half a chicken and chips. The best bang for bucks by far. They should consider franchising this pub.
