In an ever changing world where client centricity overcomes even poor product or in this case FOOD, the manager at the Cafe Fino in Clearwater Mall, decided that a HAIR found in my Portobello Wrap was a hair but the hairy like filament of a mushroom- apparently, the so called mushrooms were not cleaned properly? She stated that the staff in her kitchen all wear hair nets and she stands by the hygiene of the kitchen- nobody around the table stated that the hair actually came from somebody's head? In fact before anybody had their say, the manager rushed off. Who would ever know now whether this is fact? The plate of food was whisked away so quickly and this disgusting event will die a sorry food death! The worse part is that my hunger, even with this body hair saga, was telling... if only I was offered something else to eat at the time? The wrap was removed from the bill, but really now, does that not defeat the argument? Problems do occur, and consumers should understand this, however, Poor Management begs a level of professionalism, and at times Manager's must be cognisant of the fact that their consumers are very well educated and deserve a level of respect.
