I decided to give Parlane Spar's fresh bacon cabonnara pasta a chance and was UTTERLY DISGUSTED when I went back to my office and opened my meal and twirled my pasta with a fork only to see hair in it. I stopped immediately and asked my colleagues to confirm that it was in fact hair which they agreed it was. I immediately went back to Parklane Spar and asked to see the supervisor who informed me that I was the second person to bring it back and that it was mushroom hair from mushrooms in the pasta. I informed her that it was most certainly not mushroom hair as it was at least 3cm in length and one could quite clearly see it was human hair. She then refunded me while calling a lady from the kitchen staff who also said it was mushroom hair and who was unapologetic. Their attitude was very unsympathetic considering I had now wasted my lunch break and was hungry. They both just walked away leaving the cashier to apologise for the hair. Is this the kind of service we can expect from such a huge store? Hair in our food and bad customer service with it...!
