A friend & I went to have something to eat & drink on Monday night (28/7/13). The place was quiet, couple of tables spread throughout & shop. They were a few waiters/ waitresses hanging around waiting for the dinner rush. We sat down & ordered our stuff (we were in the back of the smoking area, in the corner, we were relatively close to a waiters station & next to table that is "supposed" seat only 2 people. Eventually our drinks came & we were chatting & it seemed like we were talking louder & struggling to hear each other due to another conversation that was going on right next to us. I then looked to my left & realised there were 4 waitresses seated at that tiny table, squeezed in next to each other and two standing and chatting along, another one was actually ON HER PHONE, standing almost on top of our table having a fat chat, not even noticing us sitting there! We stopped our conversation & looked at them, one of them saw us looking, gave us a filthy look and carried on talking. I wanted to complain, but there wasn't a manager in sight!!! Really off, where is the respect for the paying client! I worked in a restaurant for 7yrs..and I was shocked!
