I took my fiance to Ocean basket at Sanridge Mall, Midrand on friday the 13th between 1900hrs and 2030hrss. At the door was Bruce who welcomed us, table for 2 outside. Turns out this Bruce is a shift manager and I expected better from him. Instead he literally dropped the menus on the table, turned his back and walked away without taking our drink orders. I let it slide because I thought he forgot, the next minute Bruce comes back goes to all the tables in the restaurant were only white people were sitted chatting them up for about 20 minutes literally ignoring our table all this time not bothering to take our drinks order. I had to beg one of the waiters after 30 minutes to get me some drinks. After getting my drinks, Bruce comes back again acknowledges every white person sitting in the restaurant and passs by my table with a frown on his face without acknowledging my presence. I literally laughed because at this point his behaviour was comical to me. 4 different waiters switched on us before we finally got our order. When we left the restaurant he was standing by the door acknowledging every white person exiting but frowned when I passed and never said a word of acknowledgment.
