Ocean Basket N1 City Mall advertises the Movie Platter for R199, where you get two movie tickets free. This ad is currently on there Facebook page, as well as in there windows at the restaurant. Tonight, when I went there I was told, by the waiter that there are no more tickets (they ran out of tickets). This was rather strange as they are next to the cinema, why not just go and buy tickets? I asked to speak to the manager, who explained that Sterkinor increased their prices, which no longer allows them to run this special. Whatever the reasons may be, they are falsely advertising this special, at the restaurant and on-line (Facebook page). If you are by means to put an ad on-line and post a poster in your windows, surely you are by means to remove it when it no longer applies? I went there under a false impression tonight, and most likely wont go back because this is a bad way of doing business. I feel entitled to my movie tickets, as that is what was advertised, that is why I went there, and I spend more than what this special would've cost. I tried to explain to the manager that one cannot have something advertised outside your shop, and tell customers another story.
