I am absolutely disappointed in Spur at the MooiRivier Mall. My fiance and I took her parents out for dinner last night. We got there at 17:30 just before the rush, but still ended up waiting over 45min for our food. When the food arrived, both her parents food was ice cold. We sent it back, when it arrived it was as if they just put it on the pass as it was still ice cold. Sent it back AGAIN and guess what, came back cold. And to top it off the baked potato was like a dried out piece of leather that was obviously microwaved a few too many times. What kind of stupidity is running this place. And as for the "manager" Sakkie (no offence) but how do you go from someone i use to see only cleaning tables a few months ago to being a manager? You have absolutely NO idea how to handle a guest complaint in a restaurant. When there is something wrong, DEAL WITH IT! Stop hanging onto my table and breathing over my food while you come up with every excuse under the sun. I dont care if it was the waiters fault or if it was the kitchens fault, get it sorted!!! You should by NO means be a manager. I have managed some of the finest restaurants in South Africa and you have a LONG way to go.
