On Saturday 22 June 2013 my girlfriend and I went for lunch at The Long Table Restaurant & Cafe in Stellenbosch. The starters were okay, yet when it came to the main coarse, I was disappointed. I ordered the special of the day which was a mutton shank. The first bite was warm, yet when I cut deeper into the meat the entire thing was still frozen, I called the waiter; he then took back the meal and brought a hot one a couple of minutes later. The manager did not even come to apologize, no one said anything and I was expected to pay the full price for the meal. This was the first time I went there and it will definitely be the LAST.
