On Christmas Day, my family and I went for lunch At La Campana in Benoni. We had booked months in advance for the second sitting which started at 2.30. When we arrived we ordered drinks - unfortunately we were told that a lot of the drinks we ordered were out of stock. They had run out of coke zero, bitters for rock shandies, certain beers etc. We accepted this and ordered other drinks. When it came to dishing up the food thats another story. We got our starters, half the dishes were empty and were only refilled afterwards. We then went for our main meal, the roast potatoes dish was empty, I complained and brought out another dish.By the time we got to the meat counter there was not meat. We waited for ever, after which they brought out a small eisbein which was just bone and fat, and lots of people were behind me in the queue. I refused to eat that and asked where is the beef and turkey. They brought out a turkey eventually but we were told the beef was finished.By the time we got to our table our vegetables were ice cold. After about 45 minutes we were told that there is beef. The desserts were also frozen. We eventually got R50 discount off the meal.
