On the 13th of January we have decided to go to the Harvard Cafe for the first time, for a late lunch.
We were very disappointed! The waiter was friendly but the service was very poor. We were 4 people and ordered a foccasia for starters with parmesan on the side. We did not receive any side plates or the parmesan with the foccasia
For main course I have ordered a rear rump, but when I received it, it was well done. My son had the ribs and the top part was just a big piece of fatty tendon. They do not serve proper loin ribs like other restaurants, but the do ask the same price!
The veal schnitzel my daughter ordered was extremely dry and over cooked. The chips were not freshly prepared, cold and tasteless.
The Harvard Cafe is a busy restaurant due to the fact that it is situated at a airport. It is a pretty pricy restaurant too, (our bill was R824.00). Mr Owner you should appreciate your customers and give them the service and food that they pay for!!!
