On arrival I mentioned that I had a reservation. I mentioned my surname and the waitress on duty was not able to find my reservation. I went to look in your reservation book myself and found that my name was indeed in the book and it was the first guest on the list for the day.

We wanted to order the prawn linguine from the a la carte menu and due to our Muslim dietary requirements, enquired from the waitress, Chantel Klaase whether the sauce contained any form of alcohol/liqueur. The waitress, Chantel Klaase was not keen at all to make any enquiry as to the ingredients of the sauce and was absolutely reluctant to accommodate us by providing an option of serving the dish without any alcoholic content.

We were terribly unhappy at the appalling level of service. There were no napkins or serviettes on our table and when my husband asked one of the waitresses to bring us a few serviettes she simply ignored such request.

In light of the above, we will definitely not be returning to Quay 4.
