Would like to warn anyone about going to Giannis Restaurant in Ballito, Durban. They advertised lunches from R39-00 which is why we went there instead of the other pubs / cafes / restaurants nearby. They then do not give you their lunch menus but try and get you to order from their main menu which of course the prices are much higher. When I confronted then about this, the waitress about not having any other menu, but then told us that they had been given instructions from their management not to give the customers the lunch menu, when I confronted the manager, he tried to blame the waitress. After telling us that the waitress should have given us both, my husband and I sat and watched as every customer that came in were only given the main menu. Between the manager and the waitress, this type of dishonest behaviour is appalling as clearly the management try you to get to order the most expensive, and the waitress wanted this as well so that her tip could be higher. SHAME ON THEM!!!
