Last night we went to spur with friends. Was served by a waiter called Staka. He was slower than a chameleon. We ordered our food and drinks but the food got to us before the drinks. when we eventually got our drinks there was one short. we asked for the drink, which took forever had to ask another waiter to serve us. The next thing when we received the bill Staka claimed to have served us 3 rounds which we disputed and the other waiter was also saying its incorrect. I paid the full bill and went to the bathroom, only to come back and find that Staka has collected the money again claiming that we didnt pay his bill in full. We argued that for a good 30 minutes, requesting that he return the money he collected the 2nd time. It was at about 19:45 and i indicated to him that my transport will not be available after 20:15. The manager went to the bar to enquire, which took him more than 15minutes. My transport left me and when the manager came back he just instructed Staka to give the money back and that twas it. I had to hire a cab that i paid R600 for a mistake he made and no decency to acknowledge he was wrong. Twas my favourite spur but After last night i doubt i'll ever go there.
