The service I have been receiving at the Rosebank Spur is despicable. The quality of the food has deteriorated. Recently, I have a shocking incident. We ordered our drinks and were told that the restaurant did not have ice! The plates that were brought for the starters were all filthy. When we sent the plates back, we were given the same plates that were merely rinsed off; they were still dirty and now wet on top of that!
Finally our meals were served only filthy plates that were so bad you could still tell what sauce the previous patron had ordered. Firstly, this is a Halaal food establishment, which means there are strict rules of cleanliness that need to be adhered to. Secondly, this was definitely an act of spite as we had complained about the first plates. I will probably never support Spur again. With Mike's Kitchen right nextdoor, they should up their game.
