I am extremely disappointed in Bloemendal! I decided to have my birthday party at Bloemendal on Friday night where I had invited 16. Coming all the way from Muizenberg side almost taking an hour to get there, all excited to have a good time. When we got there, we waited about an hour for a waiter to come to our tables. I had got up about 5 times to call a waiter and yet they took their own time. It looked like there was not enough waiters to serve all the people that was there. We got there about 7pm and the waiter only served us about 8.45pm. Waiting so long for menu's. This was such an embarrassment for me inviting all my guest to the supposedly wonderful Bloemendal. We however had groupon vouchers but this should not matter a thing, if it was a groupon voucher or not, some of my guest paid normal price. It felt like we were just put in a dark cold corner because we were groupies. Eventually when getting the food, the food was cold. The Tripe was sour and everyone that had tripe, the guest were sick next day. Then waiting for the deserts to come and that was also cold and cake was dry. I had emailed the company twice. No apology whatsoever!!!
