Hi there, I'm a lover of Mugg n Bean, the food is always great, fresh ingredients. So when my family came from Germany I wanted to take them there for coffee an cake. I prefer going to the ones in canal walk an tygervalley or waterfront, but they were staying close to vangate I settled for that store. What a horrible experience nobody knows whats going on, the waiter seater us, the store was basically empty an the took 35 mins just to get menus, eventually we ordered an I promise u 1 hour later we got our order and coffee was cold, cakes were old, waffle was brick hard, salad the lettuce was soggy. I complained to the waiter repeatedly and he said that the manger doesn't buy enough stock ect an the branch is not doing well, which I understand but as the customer why should I suffer? I think you need to close the branch because it's giving all the other Mugg n Beans a bad name. Our bill came to R700 and I really hated parting with that money because I never got any value for it. I mean everyone left their plates full.
