My family went to OB for lunch on Sunday, 05 May 2013 at Cavendish in Cape Town. This complaint is about the sushi that was served. The quality of the fish was disgusting. It smelled and was slimy. When serving sushi, which is raw fish - the quality and freshness must be top.
Complained and replaced meal with a platter for 1. It took over 30 minutes to arrive. Disgusting service level and incompetence and belligerence displayed by the manager.
Bottom line:
1. If you are going to serve sushi, make sure that the fish is top quality as it is raw!
2. When a customer makes a legitimate complaint, don't argue. Apologise and do what you can to remedy the situation. End of story.
I will definitely NOT be spending me heard earned money at this establishment again. Ever.
