Going behind my back and asking for bank details

I phoned earlier today, and spoke to a lady consultant, whose name I wont put up on here as I cannot stoop that low, but should I not receive an apology from her manager or a response to this report, I will phone in to outsurance and make a complaint against her personally. I have just bought a new vehicle and needed a quote for insurance. My previous car was under my dads name and using outsurance. She phoned me for same. I gave out personal details etc and asked her to send me the quote via email so that I may look at it, compare with other quotes. Next thing my dad phones me and says to me oh by the way, " they have quoted you X amount but if they discount it, they ll offer you an amount of Y". I think to myself, she just phoned him after I asked her to not tell him because what I am paying is no one's business, its personal. Its about how much I can afford, why should any1 know. Then he says to me I must phone her back because she asked him for MY banking details. I cant handle that. I did not give her PERMISSION to phone him for my details.1) what if he thought I gave permission and gave it 2) what was she going to do with my details, I had NOT ACCETED the quote. UNACCEPTABLE!!
