After a protracted saga I was finally called by an FNB Consultant yesterday and told that I could collect a re-issued cheque for a client. During this conversation (and due to the fact that I had been kept waiting for hours by FNB before) I specifically made an appointment with the Consultant for a specific time today and confirmed it with him. I attended FNB at exactly the time for the appointment. The Consultant walked up 20 minutes later and then told me that "we" had "agreed" that I would see someone else. This after I specifically said, at the end of our telecon, after him allowing me to pick my own time to see him, that I would then see HIM at the specific time today. I am fairly certain they record their telecons, so why am I faced with this irritation? My time is just as valuable as their time. I am very glad that I do not bank, and will never bank, with this institution.
