SBSA Suspended my Account without Notification

My salary was due to go through on 25/04/2013.
When this did not happen I confirmed that HR had all the correct details, which I personally confirmed.
I then went into Standard Bank @ Gardens Center and was informed that my account had been blocked.
The apparent reason for them blocking it was that my ID copy wasn't clear enough.
This after the account has been open and active for a period of 6 months.
What angers me even more is that I was:
a) Not notified by any means of their intention to block my account
b) Not afforded the opportunity to correct the alleged error
c) Inconvenienced by their actions
I have no doubt in my mind that this will be swept under the carpet, as has happened to me in the past, but should I not receive any contact from SBSA within 48hours, I will change from one authoritarian beauracratic bungling bunch of bankers to another, to most probably receive the same shocking service levels.
SBSA should stand for Sh&test Bank of South Africa
