We have had countless hold ups and problems with Standard Bank regarding our application for a bond. Each time is a different person to deal with, each time we were given the wrong information & each time they cannot give us an explanation as to why the previous consultant had given us the information they did. Follow up phonecalls made to the bank proved futile as the reference numbers quoted were "non-existent" when we phoned again. Each time they promised the application would be expedited or was being processed only to hear on the follow up phone call that nothing had been done in over a week. This has been going on for over 3 months now.
