Woolworths Insurance
How long should it take to get my car back?

My car was and found by the police. The car had minor damages - mostly the ignition and front lock. Initially I was quite impressed with the service as I received regular feedback until the car was released from the assessment centre. Since then (3 weeks ago) I have had to follow up myself with the repair centre. I have had no feedback from the insurance and when I call them they know less about what is happening than I do.

After 10 days at the repair centre I called there to follow up, only to hear that the parts had not yet been ordered because they didn't have my registration doc's and licence. Why was there no communication from the Insurance's side about this? They had these documents and they could have followed up and told me about the problem.

I have now been without a car for 5 weeks and we are still waiting for parts (which have only been ordered because I was able to get hold of the repairer and sort things out myself)... is this normal?

I have also had zero feedback on my claims for other things from the car.

In the past I have been very impressed with Woolworths Insurance but now that I really have a problem I am very disappointed.
