First National Bank
RECALL NOT CARRIED OUT

On the 30th of October 2012. I mistakenly transferred from my FNB account to a Standard bank account.
I phoned FNB within an hour and a half and asked them to stop the transaction. I filled in the recall forms within 6 min and received a Service request number (1-67191857) FNB never came back to me and didn't answer their phones, I emailed and received a 2nd SRN: 1-672160058). I managed to speak to someone on about the 5th of November and was told I have to wait the 5 days the request had gone through to Standard bank and was in progress. On the 7th of November Istill hadn't received formal feed back from FNB so I phoned again at 9:25am and spoke to Abigail. She said that she wasn't sure why I hadn't been given feed back since this was Day 6. I phoned again and spoke to a Nicol at 9:25am asking for the formal correspondence which was emailed to me at 9:43 on the 7th of November by Evelyn. I received an insufficient funds response - FNB did not adhere to their service agreement with regards to coming back to me within the agreed 5 days. Neither do I believe they sent off the request in time and did what they could to get my money back. I would like my R2200 refunded by FNB.
