My Husband reported a fault w.r.t out built - in pool. We requested that an assessor come and see what it is we are referring to. We tried to submit a claim /requested an assessment. Yet Standard bank rejected the claim before even knowing what we are referring to, as it is not accidental damage? I took the liberty of reading through the policy and it states Built-in pools are covered and it is not listed below accidental damage.
Everything that we feel should be covered by the insurance keeps been rejected.
Our roof is leaking and according to standard bank that is not structural damage? But who replaces the ceiling boards once I have repaired the roof?
My Fish tank broke my kitchen floors and cupboards got totally soaked at the bottom and according to standard bank this is not covered? Can it be that the HOME OWNERS INSURANCE POLICY is misleading?
