Ok ive tried to put my full story here ran out of characters half story same thing!!! so very short version... As an Absa account holder for 18yrs i am obviously one that is at beep bank... Applied for a Bond and was declined no customer service, 1 phone call would have set what they thought was a problem straight!! My dad has been with Absa for over 35 years and as he put his home (paid in full) as surety has a very good balance in his money market account is also very unhappy with the service we have been afforded. I now have been granted a 80% home loan by Std Bank as we dont bank with them and have no history with them thats all we qualified for! who has a R200 000-00 deposit trans fees to pay out. My first time home buying has been a nighmare and because of My Absa Bank i may loose the home i have lived in for six years due to poor customer service lack of feed back and just plain bad Service.
