I am infuriated over the lack of customer service I've received from Standard Bank. I have called them three times, once told that I would be contacted back by a sales person in the home loans division, and was never contacted as promised.
I then logged a complaint via their website, and a lady called me about a week later. I said that I could not talk to her then, and she offered to email me, and that we could try to resolve my issue over email. I never heard from her!
I am so sick and tired of wasting time in trying to get hold of Standard Bank. I want to take out an additional bond, or a bond against my existing bond, and I'm actually getting fed up and losing hope in Standard Bank. I've been a client for 18 years! I'm very tempted to take my business elsewhere, and move all my accounts to FNB.
I have a home loan, cheque account, personal loan and call back account with Standard Bank. You'd think they would treat their clients with service... not the case. In times where Standard Bank are retrenching staff, can they really afford to mess up like this? I'm fed up!
