PUTRID SERVICE (and that's putting it mildly!)

EARLY THIS YEAR, I CONTACTED A REPRESENTATIVE AT OLD MUTUAL WITH THE INTENTION OF INVESTING FUNDS IN MY RETIREMENT ANNUITY. THE INVESTMENT HAD TO BE FINALISED BY THE END OF FEBRUARY.2013.BY 28TH FEBRUARY, THIS WAS NOT DONE EVEN THOUGH THE REPRESENTATIVE ASSURED ME THAT EVERYTHING WAS UNDER CONTROL. I IMMEDIATELY WROTE TO THE COMPLAINTS MANAGER WHO REPLIED ON 4TH MARCH THAT "OUR COMPLAINTS RESOLUTION PROCESS ENSURES THAT YOUR COMPLAINT WILL BE DEALT WITH AND THE OUTCOME CAREFULLY MONITORED (THEIR REF NO 5420106). OVER FIVE WEEKS ELAPSED AND I STILL HAD'NT HEARD FROM OLD MUTUAL. SO I WROTE AGAIN ON 10TH APRIL. TWO DAYS LATER, I RECEIVED A REPLY THAT "WE HAVE ESCALATED THIS AND REQUESTED FOR URGENT FEEDBACK TO BE GIVEN IN THIS REGARD (REF NO 5534460). IT IS NOW THE 16TH APRIL AND I AM STILL WAITING FOR MY COMPLAINT TO BE RESOLVED. THESE PEOPLE ARE FULL OF HOT AIR AND DO NOT DESERVE OUR BUSINESS. THEY CERTAINLY WON'T BE GETTING MINE IN FUTURE.
