I emigrated to the US in 2010. At that stage I had an annuity at Old Mutual that had vested. I was told that one is allowed to take the full amount and not only one third when one emigrates. Well, after mountains of e-mails, nothing has come of this and I am still waiting. When requesting the matter to be escalated to a person more superior, it does not happen. When inquiring whether or not the funds should be invested until later, I get told that I cannot be given investment advice. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced.
