Smart Device delivery not made on arranged date

On 4th of April 2013 I was contacted by Enginuity Couriers to inform me that they have received my order for a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 from FNB (ordered it online) and to get a delivery address. The lady that spoke to me informed me that they did not have stock, but would receive the stock by Monday the latest. I asked her if we could arrange for the delivery to be made on Friday 12 April and she assured me that they will have stock by then and that the delivery will be made on that day. At 9:58 I received a sms from Enginuity confirming the receipt of my order and stating that I will be contacted shortly to confirm delivery with my Ref no. FNB25206. At 14:15, after struggling to find a contact number, I got hold of them and then was informed that they don't have stock and don't know when stock will arrive. This is a very unpleasant incident as I had taken a day's leave from work to receive the delivery and now has wasted a whole day as I couldn't leave the house just in case they decided to make the delivery. This after a colleague of my wife went into the bank to order his on Monday and fetched it on Tuesday. I'm totally disgusted at the lack of respect for clients time shown!
