We had to rush my daughter to the emergency room to Hospital. We were told by the Hospital we had to pay directly and claim the money back from our Medical Insurance. we had to dish out over R3000 on the spot. I send the claim into essential med on the 18 March and nothing was done on it. When I contacted them they only started looking at the claim on the 02 April. Now they are telling me that it takes 90 days for the claim to be processed. How do you take three months to process a claim. Andi the lady that works with it advised me that its processed but paying out takes 3 months. This is absolute ridiculous the service we get from essential Med.
