As from around the 1 February 2013 i submitted a claim through to Quicksure (not QUICK at all). I have been dealing with a very helpful lady Zelda. After a week or so i got response saying that the quotation received for the repairs of my bike were going to exceed the value, therefore it would be a right off. I then awaited further notice as to when the bike would be settled with the bank. I was then told that now an assessor needs to go out and look at the bike. I then had to wait another week before someone would be sent out. Once that was done i had to wait for another assessor to go out.
I submitted a claim for a crankcase that had cracked from the -rod pushing through which happened from a fall when the throttle got stuck, which according to the mechanic was over rev that caused the unfortunate issue. I then get told that the assessor claims that the incident occurred from me over revving the bike whilst riding, so they want pay out. Firstly how can they ASSUME that i was riding, and secondly they are admitting that it was over rev that caused the this whole mess up. I personally feel that i am indirectly being called a. I PERSONALLY DO NOT MAKE FALSE CLAIMS...
