Staff who have no idea whats going on

I ordered a smart phone from FNB, I got an SMS (on the Thursday before the easter weekend) from them saying that the phone has been sent to the couriers and they will contact me within 24 hours. I understand that it was a public holiday, but its now 48 post the holiday and still no call. I called FNB, spoke with a girl who told me the courier is Brightpoint and I must call them to chase up the delivery (not my job). I called the number she gave me and the number doesnt exist. I called FNB back and spoke to someone else who said that they no longer use Brightpoint!! She then put me on hold and called the correct courier company. How can one operator know NOTHING and the other helpful?? The courier company will only be contacting me on friday to arrange delivery!! Also bad service since they've had the phone a week!
