I am client of Absa for many years & have been registered with cell phone banking for the past 3 years recently I discovered that I am being billed for cell phone banking being very confused I went onto the website and NO where I repeat NO where does it show a service charge for cell phone banking I called through to the call centre the consultant explained that according to his system I am registered for both cellphone banking & internet banking which I never requested!!! I went into the branch looking for a assistance I asked the consultant to cancel the internet service and explain to me why I am being charged for no reason, she casually said it's because of the type of account I have that I am being billed I find this unacceptable as no one explained this to me! I pay my of on that account for everything because everything is charges yet it is a basic account! But when I want to apply for a different account I am told I don't meet the criteria! *highly irritated! *
