I checked my bank account on 28/03/2013 i noticed that my discovery insure premium had gone up approximately 20%, on phoning your call centre to query why the large increase i was advised that due a review of my risk profile was completed and that my car insurance had to be adjusted. The call centre agent advised that the increase was attributable to my claims history. the one claim in question that has supposedly caused my premium to increase by 20% was an incident where somebody drove into the back of me, total cost of 3500 of which i paid an excess of 2000 therefore discovery only had to pay 1500 which as a matter of fact is being paid for by the third party that drove into my car so discovery really has very little expense here so i don't know how you can justify my premium increasing by so much. Unfortunately i have had to resort to hello peter to get a response as from past experience call centre and emails are a black hole (i am not the only person who has this opinion) on top of all of this i never even received a notification from Discovery advising that my premium would increase, please prove me wrong? I receive all your other stupid emails but not the ones that count?
