On Tue 15th Jan 2013 I went to widraw money and got response saying faulty card, called the number provided they told me my card is blocked I need to submit proof of residence which is required every five years and they say they post mail and SMS to notify customers which I got non of that. Funny enough I was at the bank a week ago and was not informed and less than 5months ago I submitted those details. My concern is I was at an ATM to get money for petrol as I was driving on reserve so I could get to work and had to beg people for money. And they told me they can't unblock telephonically I needed to go to the branch but had no petrol to reach there that's why I needed money. It even delayed me from work as I only made it 2 hours late. I would be closing my ACC and opening with capitec as I been banking with absa since I started working.
