Online order status misleading

I ordered an item through the eBucks website 2 days ago. When I log into my account and check on the order status it still shows up as "new". I phoned the eBucks call centre to query this and was told that this is correct. Orders take 14 days and the next status change will be to "dispatched". I think that this is very misleading and does not keep eBucks honest on the real status of the order. Most other online "shops" change the order to something like "In process" or "Ordered from supplier" to show that they are busy with the order.

When I raised this with the call centre agent she would not listen to this input. She treated me as if I am stupid because I don't get why the order stays in "new" status for 14 days. With online purchasing, 14 days is a very long time to process an order. eBucks should really be able to deliver MUCH faster. But seeing as they can't, at least provide a better status so that customers can track the order.
