Refusal to grant refunds

Hi

I accidentally transferred R10 000 into my RCP account, when I was making my monthly payment of R331. Upon request for the reversal of the funds, I was told that my account was closed/suspended.

When I enquired about this, I was told that every debit order processed on my account (Investec) failed to go through, which is why my account was suspended. I have been to several branches (Woodmead, Rivonia and Fourways branches) to rectify this, but they always tell me that my account details on the system are correct and they dont know why my account does not get debited. Thereafter, Ive had to make manual payments every month at an inconvenience to me, but I am obligated to honour my debt.

I fail to understand how the above is my problem as I have tried to resolve it, and I have been turned back every time, with the reasoning that my details are correct. Also, the same loan was advanced to my Investec account, so why cant the account be debited? How am I at fault here? Especially since I have tried to fix it.

I would like my funds returned to me today as this has been a stress to me. Failure to do so will lead to me witing to the ombudsman/national consumer commission for help.
