I took a comprehensive insurance policy telephonically in March 2012. My building was damaged by the storms that hit KZN Ladysmith in November/December 2012 when a large number of houses, cars and other buildings where damaged. My claim was submitted to Outsurance which was rejected stating various reasons which where never discussed with me when the agent sold me the insurance.
They have never bothered to repair the damage caused by the storm.
They sent two contractors to find reason why they cannot process my claim. They have never sent anybody to inspect the property before the contract was agreed upon. They accepted my instalments for several months. What would happen if I paid the instalment for 5 years or more and then decided to claim? I have no cancelled all my outsurance policies. They cannot be trusted!!!
It disappointing to know that thousands of Outsurance clients will be paying instalments for years only to discover that they have being paying to a company that is there to take your money and give you nothing back in return.
Cancel Outsurance Policies urgently!!!
