So a few months ago i applied for a new homeloan and during the process of signing all the documents i was given a document that gives the bank consent to contact me with marketing offers and i ticked NO i do not want to be contacted with offers. A few weeks later i recieve a email from a lady from FNB telling me that if i do not sign YES and return the documnets to her the bank will cancel my ebucks and all my other rewards programs. so basicaly the bank is saying either agree for us to spam you with marketing or we take away your rewards. I feel this is unfair because i have been a client and recieving rewards long before i applied for a home loan so why should all my rewards be taken away because of that? my bank accounts are seperate to my bond account so how dare they strip me of my rewards? I dont take lightly to threats and being held ransom and definately one step closer to closing all my accounts and switching banks. FNB YOU ARE TRULY STARTING TO DISGUST ME!
